Dixie Round Dance Council is a southeast regional organization and has been a significant factor in promoting the growth and enjoyment of round dancing.
Besides the fun of three weekend dance experiences per year, DRDC accomplishes positive growth through learning and fellowship. Both teachers and dancers alike are welcome and are important as members. Keep up with the latest dances being taught, educational articles, and listings of events with DRDC's world reknowned monthly newsletter. Input is provided from members around the globe. Nationally recognized teachers are regular features at our dance meetings providing ample opportunity for learning and exposure to the best teachers in the country.
Some of the other benefits of becoming a member include gaining experience at the dance meetings by having an opportunity to teach before a large group if you are a cuer. New dancers are exposed to a variety of cuers and teachers and can learn from the more-experienced dancers as well. They learn dances they might not otherwise get to enjoy. More experienced dancers get a chance to practice the more challenging dance routines. It’s a broadening experience for everyone. We hope you will come join us!
